Job summary

The Alliance in Alameda, CA is seeking a Technical Analyst II to provide technical analysis and support for health care related applications, authorizations, and enrollment file management. You will work under IT Applications leadership on requirements, support, documentation, reporting, and troubleshooting.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage configurations, and push changes to production while ensuring service levels and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or Health Care-related field desirable; Master's degree is a plus.
• 3 years' experience in the health care field, preferably in payer setting.
• 5 years' experience as technical analyst/engineer.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, build, test, implement, maintain and enhance business systems.
• Create/edit configurations; assess impact of changes; coordinate push to production.
• Collaborate with operations, projects, engineering and support to prioritize objectives.
• Develop or modify call center application systems; document changes.
• Serve as liaison between business and technical teams; perform gap analysis across apps and data flows.
• Provide production support to meet customer service levels and identify root causes.
• Evaluate systems for design efficiency and resource use to meet business needs.
