Job summary

Willis Towers Watson in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Health & Benefits Director to lead client engagements, designing and managing health and welfare programs. You will drive strategy, grow relationships with existing clients, and contribute to new business development by leveraging WTW's solutions and capabilities.

You will guide the client service team, manage project plans, budgets, timelines and quality, and mentor colleagues while ensuring delivery aligns with client objectives and WTW standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in design/management of complex health and welfare plans in consulting or brokerage.
• Proven ability to generate revenue.
• Track record of growing client relationships.
• Executive presence with polished written and oral communication.
• Ability to influence and collaborate with senior management.
• Excel and PowerPoint proficiency in MS Office.
• State Life and Health license required within 90 days of joining.
• CEBS designation or related training desired.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; HS diploma acceptable.
• M&A experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic partner and trusted advisor to clients for health and benefits programs.
• Lead client service team in design/delivery of project plans within budgets, timelines, and quality standards.
• Advise clients to ensure superior service delivery.
• Lead vendor procurement strategy, negotiation, implementation and optimization.
• Engage subject matter experts to meet client needs and generate new business.
• Grow Health and Benefits revenue through cross-selling and new client pursuits.
• Mentor colleagues and demonstrate leadership; review deliverables to align with objectives and standards.
