Job summary

Willis Towers Watson is seeking a Health and Benefits Manager to join our client service team in Irvine. You will design and manage health and welfare benefits, lead client engagements, and collaborate with experts across health management, analytics, and compliance to deliver cutting-edge solutions.

You will mentor junior colleagues, support enrollment activities, and contribute to strategic funding decisions, with a focus on superior client service and relationship growth.

Qualifications

• 6+ years design/management of health and welfare plans in a consulting, brokerage, carrier, or vendor role.
• State Life and Health license required within 90 days of joining.
• CEBS designation or health/welfare actuarial or underwriting training desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and management of group medical, dental, wellbeing, life, disability and absence management benefits for clients.
• Advise clients proactively and provide superior client service.
• Create benefit plan analyses, design, cost savings and funding strategies.
• Provide enrollment support, including materials, policy information, and system updates.
• Ensure compliance through reports, filings (e.g., Form 5500), and plan documentation.
• Collaborate with health management, absence, disability, pharmacy, data analytics, and compliance experts.
• Support new business by participating in prospecting opportunities as part of a team.
• Mentor junior colleagues.
