Job summary

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is seeking a Consultant to join the Private Equity health & welfare team. You will build and manage client relationships, lead benefit strategy development, and coordinate RFPs and renewals. You will also negotiate with carriers and guide junior colleagues to deliver client value.

Hybrid work is available, with opportunities across North America. The role requires 10+ years in insurance with deep benefit knowledge, strong communication, and CEBS or equivalent

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master’s preferred.
• 10+ years in insurance with comprehensive benefit design and compliance knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with advanced writing skills.
• CEBS or other industry designations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day client relationships and lead client engagements.
• Develop and manage benefits strategies for private equity clients.
• Lead vendor negotiations and communicate recommendations to stakeholders.
• Coordinate RFP processes, plan renewals, and ensure smooth implementations.
• Mentor Associate Consultants and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
