With 5+ years in manufacturing safety, OSHA 30-Hour certification, and a Bachelor's in a related field, you will lead inspections, training, incident investigations, and regulatory liaison while promoting continuous improvement and employee well‑being.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in health and safety in manufacturing or light industrial settings.

Job Details: We are seeking a passionate and seasoned Health and Safety Supervisor to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. This role serves as an integral part of our organization, ensuring the health and safety of all our employees. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing health and safety programs and procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules and regulations.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive safety programs designed to reduce injury frequency, ensure regulatory compliance, and create a safe and healthy work environment.
2. Conduct routine safety inspections and audits of assembly, manufacturing, warehouse, maintenance, and office areas to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
3. Monitor Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) usage and safety compliance across all departments.
4. Conduct Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and risk assessments to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
5. Train and educate employees on health and safety protocols, ensuring understanding and compliance.
6. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inspections, safety violations, and corrective actions.
8. Liaise with OSHA and other regulatory bodies, as necessary.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a health and safety role in the manufacturing or light industrial sector.
2. OSHA 30-Hour certification is a must.
3. A Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
4. Proven experience conducting Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), risk assessments, and safety inspections and audits.
5. Strong knowledge of PPE and safety compliance monitoring.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and educate a diverse workforce on health and safety matters.
7. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other safety-related software.
9. Ability to work independently and make decisions under minimal supervision.
