Job summary

A Health Analytics Intern at Aon will translate complex health data into clear insights and actionable recommendations for clients. You will work with consultants, data engineers, and actuaries across Reporting & Analytics, Data Science and Data Management to deliver data-driven health and benefits strategies.

During the 10-week summer program, interns gain hands-on experience with large datasets, visualization tools, and automations, while receiving mentorship and formal training from Aon

Qualifications

• Collaborators, analytical experts, problem solvers, clear communicators, relationship-builders and future leaders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with data visualization tools to present findings clearly.
• Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis.
• Understanding of data lakes, data warehouses and data integration is a plus.
• Exposure to Databricks for data storage and analytics is a plus.
• Foundational knowledge of statistics and quantitative analysis is a plus.
• Achieve GPA 3.0+ and graduate between Dec 2027 - Jun 2028.

Responsibilities

• Be part of a dynamic team focused on healthcare data and innovation.
• Observe and learn effective client interaction alongside team members.
• Prepare consulting deliverables with charts, visuals and reporting automation.
• Work on multiple projects with timelines and delivery goals.
• Handle large health claims datasets from multiple sources.
• Assist with data validation and data quality for reporting.
• Develop data pipelines using Python/R for ingestion and cleaning.
• Support ad-hoc data requests and create client-ready reports.
• Participate in understanding and communicating health and benefits trends.
