Job summary

Marsh in the United States is seeking an experienced Health Actuary Leader to join our Actuarial and Financial Consulting team within the People and Investment business. This hybrid role requires in-office presence at least three days per week in our US offices.

You will manage client engagements, lead health benefits projections, plan design optimization, renewal negotiations, and present findings to clients with senior teammates.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in actuarial science, math, statistics, finance, economics or related field.
• 15+ years’ experience in an actuarial field; consulting experience preferred.
• ASA/FSA credential required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office—Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical and project management skills.
• Ability to lead teams and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead routine client engagements across health and welfare insurance projects.
• Review analyses and ensure actuarial soundness and model use.
• Leverage AI and technology-enabled tools in work.
• Perform complex cost projections using Excel, SAS and other tools.
• Draft client reports and present findings with senior teams.
