Ahead, LLC is seeking a Headwear Trimmer in New Bedford, MA to trim excess thread and Pellon from logos, ensuring top quality and conformance to production standards. This hands-on role supports our manufacturing team with strong attention to detail.

Schedule is 7:00 am–3:30 pm, Monday–Friday, with overtime on Saturdays as required. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) with company match, PTO, paid holidays, and employee discounts; E-Verify employer.

The Headwear Trimmer is responsible for trimming excess thread and Pellon from the logo. The Headwear Trimmer is the person that is responsible for ensuring excellent quality and meeting company production standards.

SCHEDULE

7:00 am – 3:30 pm Monday – Friday with Overtime (Saturday 7am – noon) as required

270 Samuel Barnet Blvd, New Bedford, MA 02745

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Trim and remove excess threads and Pellon.
• Attach hang tags and UPC stickers.
• Bagging and packing the final product.
• Tie on threads.
• Additional duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES

• Ability to read instructions in English.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Must possess initiative, energy, and drive.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain good working relationships with co-workers and management.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or GED.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to use hands, fingers, and arms.
• Ability to demonstrate fine dexterity skills.
• Ability to climb, bend, reach, kneel and crouch.
