Job summary

Ahead, LLC is seeking a level 1E machine operator to operate a 12-head embroidery machine at our New Bedford, MA facility. This role starts in a training phase and progresses to a level 1 operator upon certification, with emphasis on quality and productivity.

The position offers a Monday–Friday shift from 3:30 pm to 12:00 am, with overtime as required. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and manufacturing experience is preferred.

Job description

The level 1E machine operator is responsible for operating one 12 head embroidery machine and ensuring a high level of quality and production. The machine operator will be considered a level 1E operator until they are fully trained and certified that they are capable to be productive on the embroidery machine. At that point the level 1E machine operator will be moved to a level 1 machine operator and no longer in training.

SCHEDULE -

3:30 pm - 12:00 am; Monday – Friday with Overtime during the week as required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Ability to demonstrate fine dexterity skillsAbility to walk, bend, reach, kneel and crouch

• Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed
