Job summary

Soho House & Co seeks a Head Waiter to lead floor service and ensure exceptional dining experiences for members and guests. You will train and guide the team, greet guests, and coordinate with kitchen and bar to deliver timely, accurate orders.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in high‑end dining with supervisory experience, strong wine knowledge, and outstanding communication. The role emphasizes discretion, professionalism, and VIP guest handling.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in a similar high‑end dining environment, with supervisory or senior waiter experience.
• Excellent wine knowledge and food & beverage knowledge.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with a hands‑on approach.
• Confident, polished, and professional demeanour.
• Exceptional communication and organisational skills.
• Familiarity with POS systems and reservation software.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet members, present menus, and engage guests upon seating.
• Take accurate orders and accommodate dietary needs.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar for timely order delivery.
• Provide knowledgeable menu recommendations, including wine pairings.
• Maintain pristine service on the floor and ensure table cleanliness.
• Lead and supervise the daily service and support staff with coaching.
