Villa Sport Athletic Club and Spa in Cinco Ranch TX is seeking an experienced Head Swim Coach to lead our competitive swim program. This role focuses on developing swimmers of all levels and creating a fun, safe, and competitive atmosphere.

Responsibilities include planning daily practices, developing seasonal training plans, supervising assistants, coordinating meets, and communicating with families. The ideal candidate brings proven coaching ability and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum coaching experience, head or senior coach preferred.
• Knowledge of stroke technique and training methods.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and meet schedules.
• Certifications in lifeguard, CPR/AED, First Aid (or ability to obtain).
• USA Swimming certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).

• Lead and manage all aspects of the swim team program.
• Plan and conduct daily practices for various age groups and skill levels.
• Develop season training plans, goals, and progression strategies.
• Supervise and mentor assistant coaches.
• Coordinate and attend swim meets, including scheduling and entries.
• Communicate effectively with swimmers, parents, and staff.
• Ensure safety standards and policies are followed at all times.
• Assist with recruitment and retention of swimmers.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented culture aligned with Villa Sport values.
