Job summary

NACOG is seeking a qualified preschool teacher to instruct and support the social, physical, and cognitive development of preschool children in a supervised setting.

The role involves planning developmentally appropriate activities, building relationships with families, coordinating lesson plans, supervising staff, and ensuring a safe learning environment. Requires CDA or higher credential with progressive education experience.

Qualifications

• Requires CDA or higher credential or state-equivalent for preschool teachers.
• Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education/Child Development with relevant preschool teaching experience.
• Masters degree in ECE/Child Development with appropriate coursework.

Responsibilities

• Instructs children with developmentally appropriate activities to promote growth
• Develops weekly lesson plans to ensure program compliance
• Assigns duties to staff and monitors work
• Completes and submits logs/reports to document program compliance
• Cleans and prepares classrooms to maintain a safe environment
• Conducts health screenings and parent-teacher conferences to assess progress
