Job summary

NACOG is seeking a dedicated educator support professional to assist Head Start classroom staff in delivering high-quality education services in alignment with program policies and procedures. The role emphasizes staff development and ensuring compliance across daily classroom activities.

Ideal candidates will have an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, 3–5 years of classroom experience or a CDA, and the ability to earn an additional degree within 18 months.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• 3-5 years classroom experience or 5 years with a CDA certification.
• Ability to earn an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education within 18 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides support to classroom staff in developing and implementing high quality policies.
• Conducts classroom observations to inform policy and procedure enhancements.
• Assists in creating action plans for program policy implementation.
• Mentors staff with effective classroom management strategies consistent with policies.
• Interprets policies to help staff achieve goals.
• Delivers training to Center Directors on policies and procedures.
• Sets goals for staff training to improve CLAS/child outcomes.
• Schedules on-site visits and maintains records for leadership review.
