Job summary

Regina Coeli Child Development Center is seeking a dedicated aide to support children identified as needing specialized assistance within the Head Start program. You will observe, record, and communicate progress to teachers and parents while assisting with daily activities.

You will collaborate with classroom staff to implement individualized goals, maintain confidentiality, and help create a supportive, inclusive learning environment for diverse families.

Qualifications

• CDA credential or enrollment in a CDA program to be completed within 2 years.
• College degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE), child development (CD) or related field is acceptable.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is highly desirable for family communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist staff in implementing individualized goals for children requiring specialized assistance.
• Observe and record behavioral data and progress; communicate findings to staff and parents.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional ethics in all interactions.
• Help with activities, meals, toileting, dressing, and other care duties as needed.
• Support curriculum implementation and collaboration with teachers.
