Job summary

Save the Children is seeking a Program Aide to provide educational, relational and social experiences for young children across Head Start programs. You will report to the Education and Inclusion Manager or Center Director and may travel to sites and home visits to support early learning.

Responsibilities include classroom assistance, materials preparation, family engagement, and occasional janitorial and kitchen tasks. Requires 18+ with HS diploma and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and meet background checks.
• Certification as applicable by Head Start or childcare regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to work with infants, toddlers and preschool children.

Responsibilities

• Assist classroom staff in daily activities and tasks.
• Support teachers during programs, family nights and events.
• Provide custodial and kitchen duties as needed while maintaining safety.
• Travel to program sites and home visits as required.
