Job summary

Family Service is seeking an Inclusion Aide to work collaboratively in Head Start classrooms. This role requires direct support for children with special needs and effective communication with parents.

The ideal candidate should have a High School Diploma or GED, a CDA credential preferred, and at least one year of experience serving children with special needs. This position operates within a supportive and diverse environment, promoting inclusion.

The Inclusion Aide will help foster a positive and learning-conducive atmosphere while ensuring compliance with Head Start regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year serving children with special needs.
• Previous classroom experience and ability to utilize various learning techniques.
• Successful completion of management training courses desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support for children with identified or suspected special needs.
• Assist with classroom management and implementation of lesson plans.
• Communicate frequently with parents regarding their child’s instruction.
