MAAC, located in San Diego, CA, seeks a Head Start Coordinator to implement performance standards across centers and programs. You will mentor classroom staff, support ECD service delivery, and help plan professional development for groups up to 50 participants.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in ECE, several years of teaching/mentoring experience, and ability to obtain required permits and certifications within stated timelines. Bilingual in English/Spanish is highly desirable.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or a closely related field including a minimum of 32 ECE units
• Three years of work and/or teaching experience in an ECE program including mentoring and coaching adult learners
• Site Supervisor Level Permit or obtain within six months of hire; CLASS Certifications within nine months of hire; bilingual in English/Spanish desirable

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and monitor the Head Start/Early Head Start service delivery at centers
• Provide coaching and on-site training on curriculum and assessment
• Prepare reports and communicate results with MAAC leadership and staff
• Attend planning meetings and collaborate with partners and community organizations
