MAAC is seeking Lead Teachers for EHS/HS programs in Linda Vista, San Marcos. The roles require 0–3 year old care expertise, appropriate ECE units, and a CDA/CDP credential path. Bilingual abilities are preferred. Responsibilities include daily care, planning activities, parent communication and accurate record keeping.

Positions are on-site for Head Start programs with 50 weeks of service. Certifications such as CPR/First Aid must be obtained within two months of employment.

• Knowledge of early childhood education, child development, anti-bias education.
• Knowledge of local educational resources and their classroom use.
• Knowledge of bilingual language acquisition.
• Head Start policies/desirable familiarity.
• Bilingual English/Spanish speaking, reading, writing preferred.

• Provide primary infant/toddler care including feeding, diapering and holding.
• Plan activities and supervise transitions to care; maintain daily records.
• Communicate with parents through home visits and conferences.
