The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in a related field, has experience with diverse families in low-income communities, and can communicate in English and Spanish.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, human services, family services, counseling, or related field.
• Experience with diverse families in low-income communities; bilingual Spanish preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to work with teams.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 50%.
• Knowledge of Head Start regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Establish eligibility systems for Head Start participants per policy.
• Support recruitment and enrollment, including families with disabilities.
• Develop family engagement strategies and community partnerships.
• Prepare weekly enrollment and monthly waitlist reports.
• Provide training and supervision to Family Specialists.
