Job summary

60 Innovative Network of Knowledge (INK) seeks an experienced center director to lead a Head Start program in New Mexico. You will oversee staff, implement program policies, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and collaborate with families to support children's development.

This full-time role requires strong leadership, experience supervising licensed childcare staff, and the ability to manage records, budgets, and community partnerships while maintaining a child-centered, inclusive

Qualifications

• Knowledge of human resources policy requirements and staff management strategies.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage in a fast-paced environment.
• Courtesy and sensitivity when dealing with staff, children, and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead staff, consultants, contractors, and volunteers to ensure health and safety of children.
• Hire, train, and evaluate program personnel for quality improvement.
• Ensure program delivery complies with state and federal standards (HSPPS).
• Monitor records for personnel, client, accounting, and incident files with confidentiality.
• Ensure child safety practices and supervision at all times across activities.
• Track outcomes and quality assessments at a center-wide level.
