Job summary

Innovative Network of Knowledge (INK) seeks a Family Services Coordinator to support Head Start families in our service area. The role emphasizes eligibility, enrollment, and family engagement, with a focus on serving diverse, low-income communities.

You will collaborate with families in their preferred language, conduct home visits, develop Family Service Plans, and ensure records, reporting, and compliance with federal standards.

Qualifications

• Certificate or credential in social work, human services, family services, counseling, or related field.
• Or High school diploma and acquire a family services certificate within 18 months of employment.
• Experience working with diverse families in low-income communities.
• Background in evidence-based strategies to strengthen outcomes for children and families.
• Prefer: Bachelor’s degree in social work, bilingual (Spanish), and three years of case management experience.

Responsibilities

• Determine, verify, and document ERSEA of program participants per agency and federal policy.
• Recruit families with eligible children and assist with the application process.
• Ensure program compliance with IDEA and maintain funded enrollment levels.
• Monitor attendance and maintain case notes; conduct home visits and family collaborations.
• Develop Family Service Plans and coordinate referrals and resource linkages.
• Coordinate with teachers, families, and community resources for PFCE strategies.
• Prepare and submit required reports prior to deadlines.
