Job summary

Requirements include fingerprint clearance, a valid California driver’s license or reliable transportation, and a High School Diploma or GED with 12 ECE units or enrollment in VOALA apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• Must pass fingerprint clearance and background check.
• Valid California driver’s license or reliable transportation.
• TB clearance within 6 months.
• Annual influenza vaccination.
• Pertussis and measles immunization.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move quickly.
• High School Diploma or GED with 12 ECE units or enrollment in VOALA apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Provide children with developmentally appropriate activities to support social, emotional, cognitive and physical growth.
• Conduct daily classroom planning and maintain records in collaboration with the Teacher.
• Observe and assess children’s development and set goals aligned to individual needs.
• Deliver a planned program that includes parent involvement and reflects diverse backgrounds.
• Ensure a safe, healthy learning environment compliant with licensing requirements.
