Oregon Child Development Coalition (OCDC) is hiring a Teacher Assistant/Support role in Oregon. You will assist staff with daily center operations, greet visitors, perform clerical tasks, and support teachers with developmentally appropriate activities for children.

The position emphasizes safety, confidentiality, and compliance with Head Start standards, daycare regulations, and USDA guidelines, with opportunities to participate in trainings and team meetings.

Qualifications

• Six months experience working with young children or similar settings.
• Ability to follow regulatory standards and center procedures.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist visitors, answer inquiries, and direct them appropriately.
• Enter data, complete reports, file documents, and perform clerical tasks.
• Assist teacher with classroom activities and record-keeping.
• Support with custodial duties, playground supervision, and sick room responsibilities.
• Ensure safety and confidentiality, and participate in required trainings.
