Job summary

Union County Community Action, Inc. in Monroe, NC is seeking a compassionate Case Manager to connect families with community resources, support children’s health and school readiness, and help families achieve their goals through Head Start services. Starting rate is $19.58 per hour with a Monday–Friday schedule (40 hours/week).

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, CDL within 90 days, and strong communication and organizational skills. CDL and driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; experience with children, families, or community programs preferred.
• CDL required within 90 days of employment; valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and enroll eligible children and families into the Head Start program.
• Develop and maintain Family Partnership Agreements with enrolled families.
• Connect families with community resources and support services.
• Assist families in scheduling and accessing health and developmental services.
• Conduct home visits and provide ongoing family support.
• Support parent engagement activities, meetings, and workshops.
• Maintain accurate records and data entry within ChildPlus.
• Collaborate with site staff and community partners to coordinate services.
• Assist with program recruitment and outreach efforts.
• Support transportation services as assigned.
