Job summary

America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses in Charlotte seeks a General Manager to lead a busy optical store, drive sales, and ensure outstanding patient and associate experiences daily. You will manage all store operations, coach teammates, partner with the Doctor, and uphold safety and brand standards while delivering financial results.

This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a passion for service; the ideal candidate has 5+ years retail leadership and a bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of retail experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lead, coach, and build strong associate relationships.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for providing exceptional customer service and driving sales.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily store operations, including staffing, inventory, bookkeeping, planning, and policy enforcement.
• Lead, train, and develop associates through coaching and feedback.
• Monitor store performance and drive exceptional customer and patient experiences.
• Partner with the Doctor to ensure patient care excellence.
• Conduct store audits and uphold quality, merchandising, and service standards.
• Manage budgets, marketing initiatives, and inventory to meet financial goals.
