Job summary

Abridge is seeking a Head of Workplaces to own strategy, standards, and long-term vision for its workplaces across San Francisco, New York, Pittsburgh, and Chicago. The role demands hands-on facilities expertise, lease negotiations, and vendor management with a design-focused, financially disciplined approach.

You will lead the Facilities and Workplace Experience teams, align senior stakeholders, and drive investment decisions that balance experience, cost, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a multi-office workplace portfolio through growth or significant change.
• Hands-on background in facilities, building systems, construction, and vendor management.
• Experience in commercial real estate transactions and financial planning.
• Credibility with senior leaders and ability to communicate clear recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Own portfolio strategy, including capacity planning, site selection, lease negotiations, renewals, and long-term capital needs.
• Lead project delivery with cross-functional partners ensuring scope, budgets, and timelines are met.
• Manage operating and capital budgets, vendor accountability, and service standards across offices.
• Build trusted relationships with executive leadership and cross-functional partners to align space strategy.
