Job summary

OSI Engineering, Inc. is seeking a senior hardware leader to own the wearable platform's electrical architecture, spanning power, RF, and SI/PI from schematic through production.

The role demands deep experience in compact wearable system design and production-ready hardware development for a highly integrated neural interface platform. You will drive schematic/PCB design for flex and rigid-flex layouts, manage BOM and second-source strategies, and lead bring-up with firmware teams to ensure

Qualifications

• 10+ years designing complex consumer hardware with at least one shipped product.
• Deep mixed-signal expertise across MCU systems, sensor AFEs, audio DSPs, image sensor interfaces, RF/wireless, and battery/charging.
• Strong SI/PI discipline with hands-on sign-off on flex and rigid-flex multi-island designs.

Responsibilities

• Own the electrical architecture across wearable platform including power, RF, and SI/PI.
• Lead schematic and PCB design for flex/rigid-flex multi-island layouts and sign-off across revisions.
• Define and validate all communication buses and multi-MCU interfaces.
• Drive part selection, BOM ownership, and second-source strategy for critical components.
• Lead EE bring-up and collaborate with firmware to enable production readiness.
• Manage overseas CM relationships and drive DFM/DFT/DFA from prototype to volume.
• Build and scale the EE team toward production volumes.
