Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc in Chicago is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee the organized flow of products in and out of the facility. You will ensure quality standards, inventory control, productivity, order accuracy, and sanitation while managing departmental expenses.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, direct, and discipline warehouse personnel to maximize manpower and equipment use.
• Process weekly payroll.
• Perform daily sanitation and safety inspections.
• Ensure security, maintenance, and repair of warehouse equipment and building.
• Perform cycle counting and reconciliations.
• Process invoices and manage expenses.
• Suggest improvements in material handling to reduce costs.
• Manage productivity and order accuracy to achieve high service levels.
• Maintain communication with other departments and personnel.
• Assure OSHA compliance in warehouse operations.
• Follow Buckhead/Newport Meat & Seafood compliance in operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Review receiving to identify outs, over/understock, or quality issues and inform procurement.
• Organize paperwork for outbound shifts.
• Review delivery adjustments and reconcile.
• Conduct routine warehouse meetings and safety program.
• Participate in safety committee.
