Job summary

Sysco Northeast RDC in Danville, IL is seeking a seasoned Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee all distribution activities, safety, quality, and productivity. You will lead the warehouse management team, ensure compliance with OSHA and company policies, and drive efficient product flow across receiving, slotting and shipping.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and hands-on supervision of staff, with a focus on safety, training, and system knowledge of WMS and labor

Qualifications

• Must have at least a high school diploma or GED.
• Bachelor’s degree related to operations management or business preferred.
• Experience leading distribution/warehouse operations in a related industry.

Responsibilities

• Direct all warehouse and distribution operations to promote safety, efficiency, and optimal utilization of facilities, equipment, and personnel.
• Hire, train, develop, evaluate and ensure accountability of the warehouse management team and the warehouse associates.
• Collaborate with RDC departments to achieve efficient product flow and cost/service improvements.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment compliant with OSHA and Company policy.
