Job summary

Bausch + Lomb is seeking a strategic leader to head Professional Strategy for U.S. Vision Care. The role focuses on developing programs that engage eye care professionals, translating clinical insights into commercial opportunities, and shaping the U.S. vision care strategy across departments.

This high-impact position requires deep knowledge of optometry, senior stakeholder management, and strong financial acumen. Location options include Bridgewater, NJ or Remote (US).

Qualifications

• OD degree from an accredited school. Candidates without an OD will not be considered.
• 10+ years of leadership in vision care or related healthcare.
• Strong understanding of the U.S. optometric landscape and eye care professionals.
• Experience leading strategic or commercial initiatives and delivering results.
• Strong commercial acumen with sales, marketing, customer strategy, and market dynamics.
• Excellent financial and analytical capabilities.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders in a complex matrix organization.
• Executive communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute professional strategies to strengthen engagement with eye care professionals.
• Partner across Professional Affairs, Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs and other functions to align with business goals.
• Represent U.S. Vision Care at industry meetings, advisory boards and major forums.
• Oversee educational programs, congresses, and speaker programs for ECP engagement.
• Translate clinical insights and market trends into actionable commercial opportunities.
