Bausch + Lomb in the United States is seeking a Head of Professional Strategy for U.S. Vision Care. This role leads the professional strategy, aligning clinical insights with commercial opportunities and engaging eye care professionals nationwide.

The position requires an OD with 10+ years in vision care leadership, plus strong strategic and financial acumen. A preferred MBA and experience with product commercialization are advantageous. Remote options in the US are available.

Qualifications

• OD degree from an accredited optometry school
• 10 years of leadership in vision care, eye health, medical device, or related healthcare
• Strong understanding of US optometric landscape and patient needs
• MBA or advanced business degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior clinical and commercial voice within the U.S. Vision Care organization.
• Lead the U.S. professional strategy, including annual priorities, operating plans, and measurable outcomes by establishing KPIs and demonstrating business impact.
• Bridge clinical insights with business strategy, product commercialization, and customer engagement.
• Build relationships with optometrists, ophthalmologists, and professional associations across eye care.
• Collaborate with Professional Affairs, Marketing, Sales, and Medical Affairs to align strategies with eye care needs.
• Represent U.S. Vision Care at industry meetings and advisory boards.
• Oversee educational programs, congresses, speaker programs, and ECP engagement platforms.
• Translate clinical trends into actionable commercial opportunities.
