Job summary

Bausch + Lomb is seeking a strategic leader to head the U.S. Vision Care professional strategy, translating clinical insights into commercial opportunities and engaging optometrists and ophthalmologists.

Reporting to the Vice President and General Manager, Vision Care, the role drives annual priorities, KPIs and education programs, partnering with Professional Affairs, Marketing, Sales and Medical Affairs to meet evolving professional needs.

Qualifications

• OD degree from an accredited optometry school.
• 10+ years leadership experience in vision care or related healthcare.
• Knowledge of the U.S. optometry landscape and stakeholders.
• Experience leading strategic or commercial initiatives with measurable results.
• Strong commercial acumen in sales, marketing, customer strategy and market dynamics.
• Strong financial and analytical capabilities.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders within a matrix organization.
• Executive communication and presentation capabilities.
• Ability to build relationships across the optometric community.
• Translate clinical insights into business strategy and commercial execution.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute U.S. Vision Care professional strategies and priorities.
• Lead annual priorities, operating plans and KPIs with measurable outcomes.
• Incorporate optometrist perspectives into business strategy and product commercialization.
• Build relationships with optometrists, ophthalmologists and professional bodies.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align professional affairs, marketing, sales and medical affairs.
• Represent U.S. Vision Care at industry meetings and advisory boards.
• Oversee educational programs, congresses and speaker programs.
