Oak View Group seeks a Director of Security for The Paramount Baltimore in Baltimore, MD. Lead a team of security guards and guest services staff to ensure a safe, welcoming entertainment experience.

Oversee security systems, policies, emergency planning, budgeting, and coordination with local authorities. Requires a Bachelor’s degree, 5–7 years arena security, and Maryland Guard Card; salary $90,000–$95,000 annually.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university.
• 5–7 years of experience managing security operations in an arena, stadium, or similar public assembly facility.
• Maryland Guard Card active status for duration of employment.
• Experience communicating with government resources (police, fire, DHS, FBI, etc.).
• Thorough knowledge of physical security systems (CCTV, access control, detectors).
• CPR/AED/First Aid Certification preferred.
• MS Office proficiency (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments and flexible schedules.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all physical security systems (CCTV, access control, radio, security software).
• Hire and lead a team of full-time and part-time staff for 24/7 security and guest services.
• Develop and enforce security policies and SOPs.
• Coordinate with police, fire, EMS, and other agencies as needed.
• Schedule vendors for security equipment and services.
• Lead emergency preparedness programs and training.
• Manage security budget, purchases, and vendor contracts.
• Be primary security contact for event management and guest services.
