Job summary

Oak View Group is seeking a Finance Manager for The Paramount Baltimore to oversee financial operations and HR functions, ensuring fiscal integrity and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include budgeting, payroll, reporting, and audits, with a strategic partnership to venue leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• 3-5 years of progressively responsible experience in finance, accounting, or business administration.
• Experience with payroll, budgeting, financial reporting, and HR is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day financial operations of the arena (AP, AR, payroll, GL).
• Approve journal entries for month-end close.
• Approve weekly COUPA AP batch for vendor payables.
• Manage all contracts for revenue recognition.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Assist in developing annual operating and capital budgets.
• Monitor revenues and expenditures for budget compliance.
• Conduct financial forecasting and cash flow analysis.
• Coordinate external audits and ensure GAAP compliance.
• Maintain internal controls and financial reporting procedures.
• Oversee payroll processing and employee benefits administration.
• Support HR with recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning.
• Ensure compliance with wage and hour laws and HR policies.
