Job summary

Northpoint Commercial Finance LLC is seeking a U.S. Operations Leader to establish and govern the operating framework for its U.S. Equipment Finance business.

This role reports to the Commercial Leader and will craft policies, procedures, standards, controls, and system requirements spanning the full lifecycle from documentation to collections. The position emphasizes collaboration with the Canadian Equipment Finance operations team to leverage shared systems while guiding U.S.-specific

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• 10+ years in equipment finance operations across contract lifecycle.
• Experience documenting, funding, booking, servicing, collections, titling, lien perfection, UCC administration.
• Working knowledge of US sales and use tax and personal property tax in equipment finance.
• Understanding US federal/state/local laws affecting equipment finance operations.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Serve as U.S. operations liaison with Northpoint's Canadian Equipment Finance team.
• Design and maintain the U.S. operating model across the transaction lifecycle.
• Identify deviations required by US laws, tax, and market conventions.
• Establish documentation, closing, funding, and QA standards for various lease types.
• Develop titling, registration, UCC, lien perfection policies and controls.
• Oversee sales/use tax and personal property tax administration.
