Job summary

Seattle University is seeking a Senior Assistant Director of Admissions, Transfer Recruitment to lead transfer student enrollment, supervise the Transfer Recruitment Team, and serve as the main liaison with Washington community colleges. The role requires evening/weekend availability and strong leadership.

You will advise students, review applications, make admission recommendations, and partner with campus stakeholders to meet undergraduate enrollment goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and three years of professional work experience or equivalent combination.
• Strong organizational skills and public speaking ability.
• Excellent oral and written communication and collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel and work evenings/weekends as needed.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Advise prospective transfer students through the admissions process via appointments, events, and outreach.
• Review and evaluate transfer applications and provide admission recommendations.
• Supervise the Transfer Recruitment Team and mentor staff.
• Develop training programs for admissions counselors and coordinate outreach.
• Lead recruitment efforts with Washington community colleges and partners.
• Collaborate with campus stakeholders to achieve undergraduate enrollment goals.
