Job summary

Ursinus College is recruiting an Assistant Director of Admission, Transfer Outreach and Recruitment to lead transfer enrollment strategies. You will plan travel, build relationships with community colleges, and manage credit evaluations and merit aid decisions.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of direct experience in recruitment/admissions is required.
• 1-2 years of experience with transfer population or working with or in a community college setting is preferred.
• Ability to partner with College staff, administrators, students and partners as an essential function.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with a diverse population.
• Ability to travel extensively year round.
• Understanding of technology with preferred experience in Slate or comparable CRM.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission and values of the college to achieve the College’s Strategic Plan.
• Develop and maintain a fall and spring travel schedule, including local and overnight travel.
• Travel to high schools and community colleges for recruitment events and fairs.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive transfer recruitment plan to increase transfer enrollment.
• Identify and build relationships with community and two-year college partners and organizations serving transfer students.
• Master credit evaluation process as part of application review and pre-read opportunities.
• Communicate entrance requirements and financial aid information to prospective students and families.
• Review transfer applications and determine merit aid within five business days of a complete file.
• Maintain accurate student records (CRM/Slate) and support articulation agreements.
• Represent Ursinus College at events and develop communications for transfer audiences.
