Principal Financial Group seeks a Head of Technology for Individual Solutions to build a modern wealth management tech platform and lead a high‑performing engineering organization within a Fortune‑scale enterprise.

You will own end‑to‑end architecture, security, data, and shared services, reporting to both the business leader and CIO, while aligning with strategic priorities. This role requires deep technical leadership and executive collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 15+ years in technology leadership.
Progressive experience in software engineering, platform engineering, or architecture.
Executive experience leading meaningful engineering organizations.

Set the technology strategy and executable roadmap for Individual Solutions.
Lead an engineering organization delivering modern customer-facing fintech platforms.
Own end-to-end delivery across federated enterprise and architecture.
