Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive software engineering experience.
• 10+ years leading large engineering organizations responsible for mission-critical platforms.
• Deep expertise in cloud-native development, microservices, APIs, event-driven architectures, and distributed systems.
• Experience modernizing legacy technology while preserving stability and long-term health of platforms.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Set engineering strategy and multi-year roadmaps for Integrated Solutions across Insurance, Annuities, and Wealth platforms.
• Lead and develop a high-performing engineering organization including leaders, architects, engineers, and analysts.
• Modernize platforms with cloud-native architectures, microservices, APIs, event-driven integration, and AI-assisted engineering practices.
• Drive architectural decisions and resolve dependencies to align with broader business objectives.
• Own engineering health, reliability, security, observability, and technical debt reduction across portfolios.
