Job summary

TD Securities is seeking a visionary technology leader to define and drive the future of Investment Banking & Global Capital Markets technology. This role leads end-to-end architecture, real-time systems, and a modern data platform for issuance lifecycle, while championing AI adoption and controlled innovation.

You will build and lead a large, global engineering organization, balancing build/buy decisions, and engaging with regulators and business users to deliver measurable value.

Qualifications

• The candidate has transformational leadership in investment banking or capital markets technology with measurable outcomes.
• 15–20+ years of domain experience and hands-on depth in enterprise architecture and large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience building and leading large global organizations (100+ people) serving thousands of users and multi-billion-dollar revenue.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive a multi-year technology strategy for primary issuance lifecycle and align the business behind it.
• Move the division from legacy to in-house capabilities, reducing manual processes and risk at scale.
• Champion AI-native development and establish standard AI tooling for bankers and engineers.
• Lead industry influence through consortia and new standards, shaping the future of issuance tech.
