Job summary

RGA seeks a Senior Software Engineering Architect for Investment Technologies to own end-to-end solution architecture across front-, middle-, and back-office systems. You will shape canonical data models, API standards, and integration patterns in a modern AWS environment.

You will mentor teams, ensure high standards for testing, CI/CD, observability, and IaC, and coordinate with governance, security, and investment leadership to deliver compliant, scalable platforms.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in software engineering with 5+ years delivering platforms for buy-side investments.
• Fluency across application, data, cloud infra; ability to tailor comms to technical and business audiences.
• Experience in regulated environments with SOX/SOC 1/2 and data lineage controls.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end solution architecture across investment technology estate and data flows.
• Define reference architecture, API standards, event-driven and batch integration patterns.
• Engage with investment engineering teams to ensure quality, testing, CI/CD and IaC.
• Architect around vendor estates and build buy vs. configure decisions.
• Design on a modern AWS/Snowflake stack with governance and audit controls.
