Job summary

Pacific Life seeks a Director of Technology Delivery & Release Management to lead delivery governance, release management, and operational readiness across diverse technology teams. You will drive governance standards, planning, and coordination with product, platform, data, and vendor partners.

The role emphasizes leadership, stakeholder management, and continuous improvement to maximize business value while minimizing risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• 10+ years of experience leading technology delivery, program management, PMO, or release management functions.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing managers, delivery organizations, or enterprise-scale programs.
• Proven success leading complex technology portfolios within a matrixed structure.
• Deep experience establishing delivery governance and release management frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing team of delivery managers and release managers.
• Establish a culture focused on accountability, execution excellence, operational discipline, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with technology and business leadership to establish delivery priorities aligned to strategic objectives.
• Own delivery governance and execution assurance across product, platform, data, and integration teams.
• Lead governance activities related to external delivery organizations and release dependencies.
• Define and maintain portfolio-level delivery, release, quality, and operational metrics.
