Job summary

Komatsu seeks a Senior Manager of Technical and Operator Training to oversee EDT training content and programs for electric drive trucks. You will lead a distributed team, coordinate course development, manage schedules, and partner with service teams and customers to meet regional needs.

You will drive curriculum development, expand training delivery, advocate for the training function's value, and shape future competency roadmaps while aligning with product updates and strategic goals.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in heavy construction or surface mining industries.
• Experience working on electric drive trucks, shovels, drills, or electric wheel loaders preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of troubleshooting concepts including electrical/mechanical systems, high/low voltage, diagnostics, and equipment support.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a distributed team of training professionals for EDT and related products.
• Manage day-to-day team priorities, training schedules, workloads, travel coordination, and customer commitments.
• Partner with regional service teams, global accounts, and stakeholders to understand training needs and provide support.
• Coordinate training delivery for internal teams, regions, dealers, and customers, including national/global requests.
• Build training roadmaps identifying curriculum expansion, material updates, delivery improvements, and technician development.
