Job summary

Komatsu seeks a Senior Manager, Technical and Operator Training, focused on Electric Drive Trucks. The role leads a distributed team delivering instructional content, coordinating schedules, and driving curriculum development.

This leader advocates for the training function and aligns work with major customer and regional needs. The ideal candidate has deep experience in surface mining equipment and electrical drive systems, plus strong people management skills to expand training delivery and

Qualifications

• 10+ years' experience in heavy construction or surface mining.
• Experience with electric drive trucks, shovels, drills, or electric wheel loaders.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, including high/low voltage and diagnostics.
• Experience developing/conducting technical training programs is preferred but not required.
• Management experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a distributed team of technical and operator training professionals.
• Manage day-to-day team priorities, training schedules, workloads, and customer commitments.
• Partner with regional service teams and internal stakeholders to identify training needs and provide support.
• Coordinate training delivery for internal teams, regions, dealers, and customers, including national and global requests.
• Build training roadmaps and expand curriculum to support technician development.
