Job summary

Nirvana is seeking a Head of Strategy & Operations to bridge vision and reality, shaping the strategic direction and turning it into actionable operating plans across the company.

Leading a ~15-person org spanning Business Ops, Marketing, Safety, and core Insurance Operations, you will set priorities, design cadences, and drive cross-functional initiatives, from carrier partnerships to AI-enabled workflow automation.

Qualifications

• Experience translating strategy into actionable operating plans.
• Proven ability to design operating cadences and accountability systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication with executive presence.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the annual and quarterly planning process with FP&A.
• Monitor performance and lead root-cause analyses to understand trends.
• Advise on partnerships including carrier and reinsurer relationships.
• Lead cross-program learning and transfer insights across units.
• Evaluate growth opportunities and build business cases for go/no-go decisions.
