Job summary

Nirvana Insurance, a fast-growing InsureTech company, is seeking a Corporate Development professional to drive M&A, strategic investments, and partnerships across the insurance value chain. You’ll work with Finance, Insurance, and Claims leadership on high-visibility deals that shape the company’s future.

Reporting to the Head of Corporate Development, you’ll build financial models, perform due diligence, and prepare materials for executives and the board.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or related field.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills for evaluating complex transactions.
• Experience with financial services or FinTech is a plus; insurance/InsureTech is a bonus.
• Ability to translate complex analyses into concise materials for senior leadership.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple workstreams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Self-starter with bias to action and ownership mindset.
• Comfortable in high-growth, ambiguous startup environments.
• Willing to work full-time in San Francisco office.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial models to evaluate acquisitions, investments, and partnerships.
• Support due diligence across financial, commercial, and operational workstreams with internal and external teams.
• Track deal pipeline and sourcing across MGA, claims, and data sectors.
• Prepare materials for executive and board discussions, including investment memos.
• Support deal execution from evaluation to closing, managing timelines and diligence requests.
