Job summary

Ohio Valley Goodwill Industries in Cincinnati seeks a Director of Philanthropic Giving to lead strategic fundraising, donor engagement, and capital campaigns in support of programs for people with disabilities and other barriers to employment.

You will build major gift portfolios, align strategies with the organization's mission, manage budgets, collaborate with marketing, and report progress to the executive team and board.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, business administration, communications, or related field (Master's and/or CFRE preferred).
• Proven track record of securing major gifts and managing donor portfolios.
• Strong leadership and relationship-building abilities.
• Proficient in fundraising software and donor management tools.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute philanthropic giving strategies to achieve fundraising goals.
• Cultivate major donors, corporate partners, foundations, and other stakeholders.
• Oversee capital campaigns, annual giving programs, and events.
• Plan planned giving and legacy programs to encourage long-term contributions.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to create donor outreach materials.
• Lead and coordinate with the executive team and volunteers to maximize fundraising.
