Job summary

Ohio Valley Goodwill Industries seeks a Director of Philanthropic Giving to lead strategic fundraising initiatives, drive capital campaigns, and align donor engagement with the organization’s mission in the Greater Cincinnati area. The role focuses on major gifts, donor stewardship, budgeting, and cross‑functional collaboration to expand programs and long‑term impact.

A senior leader with proven fundraising success and nonprofit management experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, business administration, communications, or related field (Master’s and/or CFRE preferred).
• Proven track record of successful fundraising, including major gifts and donor portfolio management.
• Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills; leadership experience in fundraising teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute philanthropic giving strategies to achieve fundraising goals.
• Cultivate and steward major donors, corporate partners, foundations, and stakeholders.
• Oversee capital campaigns, annual giving, and special events.
• Collaborate with marketing to create donor outreach materials and reports.
