Job summary

Bio-Techne is seeking a Director of Applications for Spatial Biology to lead scientific strategy, manage a global team of Applications Scientists, and drive the translation of novel spatial biology capabilities into customer-focused applications. You will align with Product, Marketing, and R&D to optimize portfolio value and scientific storytelling.

The role emphasizes organizational development, external collaboration, and strategic leadership to accelerate technology adoption and support

Qualifications

PhD-level scientific training in a relevant life sciences field or equivalent experience.
Experience defining and executing scientific strategies that enable product adoption and business growth.
Proven leadership of scientific or translational research teams across global locations.

Responsibilities

Define and execute the global applications strategy and roadmap for Spatial Biology.
Guide development, validation, and expansion of spatial biology applications (RNAscope, Comet, etc.).
Lead and develop a high-performing, globally distributed Applications team.
Collaborate with Product, Marketing, R&D and Commercial teams to translate science into customer value.
Represent the organization in external scientific engagements and partnerships.
