CVS Health Corporation in Columbus is seeking a Senior Engineering Leader to drive architectural strategy across a multi-team organization, set standards, and elevate engineering excellence at scale. You will own delivery, partner with product and health care leaders, and push for responsible AI and production-grade automation.

You bring 10+ years of software engineering, 5+ years leading large teams, deep distributed systems and cloud-native experience, and proven AI platform ownership.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive software engineering experience with leadership of large teams.
• Deep hands-on foundation in distributed, cloud-native backend systems at scale.
• Proven ownership of production AI platforms and deployment pipelines.
• Track record migrating monoliths to modern microservices under real business pressure.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical strategy across a multi-team engineering organization (50-150+ engineers).
• Own delivery velocity and be accountable for outcomes, not roadmaps.
• Partner with Product, Data Engineers, and health care leaders to translate strategy into engineering bets.
• Be the technical voice, calling out debt and advocating for right investments.
